FRACTIONAL LASER

Fractional photothermolysis is a new approach to laser technology. Unlike standard laser techniques, where the entire surface of the skin is exposed to laser radiation, in this procedure only a ‘fraction’ of the skin is actually "hit" by a laser - as little as 25% - thus the name "Fractional Laser".

The procedure is designed to avoid collateral damage and allow adjacent skin tissues to expedite healing and re-epithelialize the treated areas. The treatment carries less risk then traditional laser pealing and is relatively pain free.

The procedure can be used to treat photo-damaged skin on the neck, chest, arms, legs and hands, and can be equally effective against acne scars, melasma, rhytids and dyschromia.
