Laser Lipolysis

Laser lipolysis & laser assisted liposculpture is an advanced technique used in the removal of excess fatty tissue.

Laser Lipolysis promotes the breaking up of the membranes of fat cells, transforming them into an oily substance that is absorbed and eliminated in a natural manner from the body.

After Liposuction, a firm fitting pressure garment is applied on the treated areas. This will help to reduce swelling and encourage a smoother contour. You will be up and around one or two days after surgery, but strenuous activities should be limited for the first couple of weeks. For several days following the procedure, you may have some soreness, but this is very well controlled with the prescriptions provided.

As you recover, there may be some tingling, soreness, and tenderness in the treated areas, but this is temporary. Incision sites are barely noticeable and will soon seem to disappear. THERE ARE NO STITCHES INVOLVED. Bruising usually resolves in ten to fourteen days and some swelling tends to remain for 2-3 months.

Obese patients benefit from liposuction however they may require more than one treatment session. They have to follow weight management protocol to have a good long term benefit. For normal weight patients with isolated pockets of fat, this procedure can give excellent result and give them the curve they are looking for.

The results can be dramatic one can see saddlebags disappear, legs and hips become thinner and curvaceous, tummy becomes flatter and firmer and Double chins can be streamlined. Remember, though, that liposuction is not a substitute for exercise or weight loss. The best candidates are at or near their ideal weight — but almost anyone can realize an improvement in their body image through this procedure.
